Who am I, really?

If the enemy can get you questioning who you are, he can keep you from becoming who God created you to be.

Genesis 1:27

So, God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Genesis 3:11

And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”

The enemy’s greatest weapon is to cause us to question our Identity in God!

Luke 4:1-13

3 If you are the Son of God…

6 If you just worship me…

9 If you are the Son of God…

Identity attacked becomes identity questioned.

Identity questioned becomes direction compromised.

Romans 12:2

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Transformation happens when truth replaces survival thinking.

Some of us built identities around protection. 

We became what helped us survive.

But, survival identities make terrible spiritual identities.

God did not create you merely to survive life.

He created you to walk in freedom.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Some of us are exhausting ourselves trying to earn what God already offered freely.

Who told you who you are?
