Proverbs 13:12

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

Isaiah 9:

2 The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.

6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

7 Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

In a manger, Hope cried out.

Luke 2:11

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.

Hope has a birth date.

Where was hope born in your life or has it been born or even conceived?

Hope has a birth date.

Hope has a location.

Where do you need hope to show up?

Hope has a birth date.

Hope has a location.

Hope has a name.

What name does hope need in your life?

Hope is promised before it is seen.

Isaiah 9:6

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given…and He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Hope grows first in God’s Promise, not our circumstances.

Hope is recognized by those who watch and wait.

Luke 2:

29 “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. 30 For my eyes have seen your salvation, 31 which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: 32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.”

38 Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

Hope is clearest to those who keep looking.

Hope moves—wise men and women follow it.

Matthew 2:

1 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2 and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

Hope is not passive —it seeks, it moves, it worships.

Every prophecy spoken of Jesus found its “Yes” in Him.

2 Corinthians 1:

20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

Hope does not remove waiting — it transforms it.

Psalm 31:24- Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

Hope is not fragile — it is anchored in Christ.

Hebrews 6:19- We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
